I work as a builder all day and some of the things i need to eat are not possible to prepare in advance or during the day any suggestions.
Hi, Steve. Welcome to TDC! A couple of suggestions I might make. Have you made out a menu yet? You can opt for simple meats and veggies and starches instead of the recipes. You can purchase a rotisserie chicken already prepared in the grocery and sometimes some other meats as well. That might help for your meat to take with you. If you have a couple of days off, some planning and a bit of simple cooking might help you. For example, you could grill some burgers or chicken, or stick a roast in the oven or crock pot. Then, you could divvy it up into portion sizes and freeze, or refrigerate til you need it. The snacks are pretty portable if you have a small cooler. String cheese, yogurt, cheese stix, nuts, or a boiled egg for your protein. Pretzels, naked popcorn, tortilla wrap, or bread or pita for your starch. And, then your fruit apple, orange, tangerines, banana … Is this any help?
