Hi how do you work butchers pork sausages out to fit in this plan.? I am really struggling with foods not on the food list working them out to fit. I’m getting as I’m eating the same things week after week. I read someone else posted something about yoghurt I thought flavoured was ok? I get so confused
Hi, Diane. The foods in our lists are intentionally mostly generic, so that various similar foods can fit. Fresh sausages are fresh sausages (listed as “Pork, Sausage, Natural, Uncured”) – each once is a protein exchange. Regarding yogurt, we recommend buying plain, and flavoring it yourself with natural ingredients such as fresh or dried fruit, Stevia, and/or pure flavor extracts like vanilla. Yogurts that are preflavored tend to be high in refined sugar, which can work against your efforts here.
