LizrobertsonMemberI read somewhere that there were some vegetables that had no limit on how much you can eat. When the plan says one or maybe two servings how do I know the size of the portion?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Liz. There are indeed some vegetables that you can eat in basically unlimited amounts – you can see these by clicking on the “Vegetables of Your Choice” link in your menu. There you will also see portion sizes for other non-starchy vegetables, which is generally about 1 cup (240 ml).

LizrobertsonMemberI can’t find that link. Just see like or dislike vegetables. Don’t see all the vegetables at all

metteemilyMemberI am a bit confused. If it says 2 servings of vegetables does it mean you can eat say 1 cup green beans ans one cup broccoli and as many vegetables as you like from the “free” vegetable or that you can eat say 1 cup green beans and unlimited amount of say cucumber? Does it matter if you do half a cup of green beans and half a cup of broccoli?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Liz. If you enter the personal version of the Menu Planner (the right-most link here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner), you will see big buttons belonging to various food groups, including “Vegetables” and “Free” food.
