I’m not used to eating after dinnertime, so snack #3 is unappealing to me. Is it possible to combine snacks #2 & 3 in the afternoon instead of doing them separately? Is there a reason for eating this snack after dinner? I’ve always heard you should not go to bed with a stomach full of food.
Hi, Tregaisl. Sure – and if it’s too, much you can have one instead of the other. Just be sure not to miss out on a fruit or dairy serving.
The reason for the bedtime snack is to prevent midnight munchies for most people, and to ensure steady blood sugar levels for diabetics, who make up a large proportion of our Clubmembers. The snack is relatively light to prevent the stomach being too full.
