hello,
I would like to have Haitian squash soup, broth is made from yellow butternut squash and other vegetables. How can i swap it for my meal, what serving size should i take?
Hi, joycesevere16. That would substitute for a vegetable exchange – if it is only vegetables, then a cup (8 fluid ounces or 240 ml) would count. However, if you mean “joumou” make it with meat, potatoes, and plantains, then 2-3 cups would be an entire meal. If you would like more precise guidance, you can list the recipe here, and I will make the calculation for you.
