MemberHi, I just joined the program 2 days ago and I am very excited to try your soup recipes. I am not sure if you mention this somewhere, but I am wondering if these soups are balanced in terms of protein, carbohydrate and fat. I mean can we eat them by themselves for example? Thanks much for your time!

MemberI also forgot to ask, the recipes provided: is each a single serving?

MemberMost of the soups are an exchange for a single food group, usually vegetables, but some are also rich in protein, i.e. those with legumes or beans. Most of the recipes are for 4-8 servings (serving size 1 cup).

it would be helpful for receipts to have serving sizes on themJanuary 30, 2013 at 3:55 pm #7852Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Lynda. Scroll all the way to the bottom of each recipe, and you will find the information. The portion sizes are 1/2-1 cup, and each recipe makes 6-12 servings (though they are easily scaled down).

MemberBut the serving sizes are not included in the recipe book we receive in our downloads, which is confusing some people.

MemberI see. I will pass this on to the development team. In the meantime, you can use the tips I gave you, and refer to the online recipes as examples.
