Is there something I can substitute for Splenda? It upsets my IBS, and I don’t like the taste of Stevia. Also, another nutritionist put me on to coconut oil as something really healthy.
I use it to cook a one egg omelette in the mornings.
Suefromtn. I use Steva or coconut nectar as 2 really god sweetener options. Good luck
Is Splenda ok to use?
I like Agave nectar but not sure if it is low enough on the glycemic index to do much good at lowering blood sugar.
We don’t recommend Splenda because it is artifical – the company’s sister product Nectresse is much better, a combination of monkfruit and a natural sugar alcohol that has much less of an aftertaste than Stevia.
Agave is not recommended because it can cause an imbalance in sugar and cholesterol/triglyceride metabolism.
