I eat only sprouted bread and I didn’t see it mentioned on the list of carbs so I was wondering about it. It seems to be growing in popularity so could you mention something about it.
Hi, ktbiker. It is listed as “SWG” (sprouted whole grain) bread.
Is swg bread the same as wholemeal bread?
Hi, amieclement. Not exactly. In sprouted whole grain (wholemeal) bread, the wheat berries are allowed to sprout before milling for baking. You can read about its advantages here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/what-is-swg-bread.
