Had bariatric surgery about 2-1/2 years ago. Have been eating low carb/no carbAdding carbs – high protein for years. Have lost 100 lbs at this point, but weight loss stopped 6 months ago. Metabolism shut down. Eating 1000 – 1200 calories/day until began this diet Nov. 27. Have lost 7 lbs to date, but CAN NOT eat all the food. I will never be able to eat all the food. I try to stay within constraints of diet. I have to cut portions. Do try to eat all of protein. Also there are foods I do not eat because of discomfort/flatulence. I have been doing exchanges a LOT. Adding carbs seems to be helping metabolism and energy. Any suggestions other than what I have been doing. Please do not say eat all the food. Thanks, Malusc
Hi, Malusc. It looks like you’re on the right track – stick to protein and produce above all, and don’t worry about the rest. Try to be physically active.
