my plan calls for oatmeal cooked with milk I make steel cut oatmeal with water. Should add a glass of milk to brakfast because of using water to cook my oatmeal? Or what do they mean by cooked with milk?
It means you heat the milk in the pan and add the oatmeal to that to cook it. However, you can also choose the way you described – the point is that you get the oats and the milk.
