I have just joined and have uploaded my food preferences and got a menu. I do think the food combinations are strange though. One lunch menu has cottage cheese, potato salad, green peas and soup. Another suggest I put 1 tsp of instant gravy on fish and rice and another seems to randomly include 1tsp of olive oil. The swaps don’t seem any better. I’m feeling a bit bewildered. . All help most welcome. thank you. Julie PS. Could somone tell me what the UK equivilant is of raw cheese, block cheese and strip beef please? J
Hi, Julie. If the arrangements are not to your liking, you absolutely can swap between meals. The point is that you see the healthy structure of the meals throughout the day. As for raw cheese, it is called that in the UK – it is cheese made from milk that has not been pasteurized or homogenized. If you can get farm-fresh cheese from cows that eat in pastures, that is just as good. Block cheese is the same as brick cheese, simply other words for hard cheese. Strip beef is a porterhouse fillet.
