Tagged: menu questions no soy
HI there, I am new to this as of today. I was going through my menu and I am vegan. I also survived breast cancer. Per my Drs I shouldn’t consume a lot of soy. I can do edamame every now and then, but I don’t do the soy milk normally. Can I substitute the soy milk with the unsweetened almond milk without any issues??
Hi, chakattlc. Welcome and congratulations on putting cancer behind you. Yes, you can use almond milk instead – just be aware that it doesn’t have the protein that soy milk has.
