Can I use raw sugar, organic blue agave nectar or raw honey in my recipes?
Hi, papalucho. Of these, raw sugar is better. Agave nectar is definitely not recommended, as it can work against your weight loss goals by affecting your liver. A carbohydrate-free option is inulin (chicory root sweetener) – you need to use a little more than regular sugar, but there is no aftertaste.
