MemberI am very satisfied with the program. Lost my lbs. that I wanted to and now holding for the past week. I’ve found new energy and a joy in my life. The 10 glasses of water recommended is likely a six oz.glass and can include all the fluids you drink. Example coffee, green tea, regular tea, milk, juices etc.

MemberSince January 2nd, I’ve now dropped 21 pounds and am just over halfway to my goal. I’ve coupled the menus here with a few of the other suggestions made through email – I’ve joined bodyweightburn.com for my workouts and feel wonderful physically (starting week 4 now), and have really grown attached to Oolong Tea. The first week I lost about 10 pounds, but since then it’s been a steady 2-3 a week. At this rate, I should be around my goal by the start of April, but am prepared to deal with some plateaus soon, just in case. Either way, this is the most in-shape and healthy I’ve been in years, so I’m extremely satisfied. The recipes, for the most part, have been wonderful, though I have found out I am NOT a fan of stevia. I’ve always had an issue with sugar substitutes, though, as it’s just offensive to my palate.

MemberI’ve just finished my first month on the TDC and have lost 15 lbs.
I’m very excited about this and can’t wait to see how I do in my second month!!!! My favorite victory is that I can make it without drinking my diet coke anymore…..it was really hard for me to switch to water, but I did it and I’m really proud of it. I Hope everyone else is having a great time doing this, it’s very exciting for me.February 8, 2013 at 8:12 pm #8672LynnM
MemberMy first 5 weeks and I have lost 8 lb, very happy, I don’t mind that it is slow, it will stay off because I’ve learned to eat differently. My menu let me make the brownies, and I only wanted one! The rest are safely in the freezer. Still feeling so much better compared to before Christmas, and much more energy. I am at the weight I have been at for the last 4-5 years, now I want to get down to what I was 20 years ago. So 10 lb to go. Doesn’t sound like much but I have to get it off, it affects my back as of course it is all in front!
Love all the comments, thanks for the stories and support!

MemberSo far so good. I have just reached my 9th day and so far I feel great! There are no hunger pains and no cravings. I began with the 14 day startup and had to do a little juggling but it seems to be working. Only time will tell so here’s wishing you all the best….

MemberMost people would not consider me to be “overweight”, but I do!! THAT’s what counts for me! I’m 5’10” & as of 01/12, I weighed 217.8#, my all time high. I’m soon to be 72, am an ex-competitive athlete and workout for 60-90 minutes/day 5 days a week. But, I didn’t make the significant progress I’ve wanted until I read an article about “The Five Foods You Should Eliminate From Your Diet”, along with getting myself back to drinking 8-8 oz. glasses of water/day, cutting my portion size in half (from normal) and scaling back on the wine/booze throughout the week (having 2 glasses of wine or 2 mixed drinks each day 5 days a week was about the norm). Since I’ve dropped about 11 pounds (now weighing in at 207.2#) in less than a month, I’m going to keep going on this routine, plus some of the new stuff I pick up from the TrimDownClub, to see how firmly I can move myself down to my goal of 185#, which is what I weighed as a Senior in High School. I want to be able to fit into some of my “retro” clothes I still have and I want to be able to cut out as much of the high blood pressure medication I take as I possibly can so I can become “drug free” :)!!
My supposition here is that by writing all this down, it records in my brain more firmly and I will be able to keep all this in my memory for alerts to my brain when I’m thinking of deviating from my planned behavior!! Think it will work?
