Hi, My name is Maria. I started this program on April 15th and to this date (May 25th) I’ve lost 21 lbs. I’m following “The Express Meals Plan” I find it easier than trying to plan my own meals. My weight was 20l lbs I’m now 180 and losing. I weigh myself once a week. This has to be the best weight loss program I’ve ever been on!!

Hi. I started the programme 1 week ago and have lost 5lbs so far.I have also started a run/walk programme to help with the weight loss. I feel energetic and healthy on this programme. I will be 60 years old next birthday, and plan to look and feel great by that time (next March). good luck to everyone. Glad you are doing well too.

You are all very inspirational to me thank you for your posts. I started last Monday and have followed the plan about 85% of the time and have lost 3 lbs. Tonight I started falling back into some old habits again, grazing in front of the T.V.. and hope that tomorrow will be a stronger day for me. — I wish everyone all the best. 🙂

Hi everyone I have just joined tonight and looking forward to starting. I have just gone through the menu for the week and it looks yum! Fingers crossed I will do as well as everyone here that I have been reading about.

I think I pushed myself too hard. I went from 224 to 215 in 3 weeks. Doubt that quick loss will continue. Hoping to drop 20 more pounds in 3 month’s time. Heard men loose it a lot quicker than women. I think using the weight bench has helped. Cant seem to get into the jogging or using the elliptical machine.

Hi, I actually joined awhile ago but was in a motorcycle accident and had other issues to deal with, so actually forgot I was a member! Of course, since the accident I’ve gained another 15 pounds!! So I’m starting again….today! I’m hopeful, because this is the only site I’ve found that helps me plan menues for all my health issues: Wheat intolerant AND diabetic! I’ve been frustrated trying to find foods that can accomodate both, but after reading the recipes and menu’s, I’m going shopping with a menu plan and looking forward to some good tasting, guilt free meals! Wish me luck!

I don’t know what to believe about all these comments. I am adhering strictly to the planner and have gained 3 lbs in 3 days. This has me very upset. I walk an hour every morning and exercise for another 1/2 hr. when I get back home. I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. I only have 10 lbs to lose, but since I’m now gaining weight instead of losing it on this meal plan, I’m totally skeptical about it. I’m nervous about continuing just to find out I’m worse off than when I started.

Hi, PattyGirl. Most of the Clubbers have much more to lose than you and it is indeed much easier to lose weight the more you are overweight – it is specifically the last few pounds that are the hardest.
Have you dieted before? If so, what sorts of diets, and how recently was your last time? If you have been on restrictive diets, it may take a while for your body to get used to normal amounts of food. Also, if you are used to working out, it could be that your efforts could benefit from a new type of exercise to work new muscles – that can give your metabolism a major boost.
In addition to the above information, you are welcome to post a sample day from your weekly menu, along with your height, weight, and age, and I can run some calculations.

Hi I started a few days ago, I have lost a few pounds, but as I am just 50 years old I am worried now that if I lose weight I will look older, like I see so many people of an older age that have lost weight they do look alot older! Would sit ups help or would I still have a flabby tum?

    #12321

Hi, Suzanne. Exercise can be a HUGE help in dealing with that issue. Huge. So is the slow loss inherent in this program, along with the healthy foods encouraged here. It is also recommended to keep well-hydrated and your skin well-moisturized.

    Suzanne63,
If you start slowly with a weight bearing work out like resistance training along with cardio, this will help tremendously. Sit ups will help strengthen your core but not remove fat from that area. Proper diet, cardio exercise, and resistance training will help with this.
