I too lost about 15 pounds even though I’m eating out once on the weekends. It seems I’ve reached my plateau and I’m just maintaining now which is fine. I wanted to lose another 10 pounds but I can get back into clothes I haven’t worn in years so I’m happy with that. I think the holiday’s are going to be hard but I’ll stay on the plan as much as I can. For anyone who thinks of stopping after a few weeks, the weight loss will slow down, but I feel better and I’m not hungry so even if I just maintain this weight, I’m happy with my new lifestyle.

Wow, AnnaH! I am inspired! What a wise thing to do … break your losses into increments! You go, girl!!! You’ll make it one of these days, and we’ll be celebrating the finish line just like we are celebrating the first 20 (21, actually) right now!! Let’s hear a big “YAHOO”!!! Hear us all? We’re cheering for you right now, Anna!! And, djembejen, how quickly you picked up the routine!! Already switching out foods for ones you know you’ll eat!! Impressive, ladies!! And, as you both keep on in the program, let me encourage you to try new things as well … even if you do it little by little! We have tried couscous, brown basmati, cooked quinoa and millet … and dishes prepared with all the above, to name a few. It expands our horizons and helps us broaden our eating habits to more healthy options! Don’t ya love that TDC!!! 😉

I just started on the plan. I am diabetic and desperate to lose weight. I also have mobility issues. I am eating more on this plan but have to say that the last two days my blood sugar tests were perfect. That is victory……skeptical but hopeful.

Wow! You folks are doing so well. I feel like I am lagging behind but I am determined to keep with it – even if it is one pound at a time. I figure as long as I’m not gaining, I’m winning. Congratulations to you all, you inspire me.
    tks, g

Morning Montgom. Some of the words i have read on this site have stuck with me “this is not a race, it’s a journey” and that is true. I have struggled with my weight for years, i was a fit healthy younger man and over the years the weight crept on and i didn’t really realise it.It has got me down so so much. i started this eating plan 8 days ago and so far have lost 8 pounds. It is a different way of eating but very rewarding.you are doing so well-keep at it my lovely
