MemberI am a newbie and am trying to lose belly fat for my daughters wedding in October. Is it crazy to hope for 20 pounds in 6 months? I joined this because the food combination concept sounded intriguing

MemberI’ve been with TDC since January and I’ve lost 21 lbs. I’ve used a combination of the TDC menu, exercise, drinking plenty of water, and nutritional supplements. I’ve felt great throughout the process with plenty of energy.

MemberJust checking in to let you all know that the TDC really does work. I joined in Dec of 2013. Even with tremendous thyroid issues, I was able to lose 29 lbs — albeit VERY slowly — and I’ve kept it off for a Year now! Yippee! I changed my eating habits following the meal plan through TDC and coupled it with daily exercise faithfully for over two years now. I watch my weight carefully, and though it fluctuates within a lb or two, I refuse to let it get out of hand again. Wherever I am at mealtimes, I keep in mind my portions and the combinations that I should eat. If I will be out at snack times, I pack and take them with me. I continue to have a splurge regularly so I don’t feel deprived. For me, TDC is the way to live now. So, don’t give up or let yourself become unduly discouraged. Keep using the plan diligently, and you WILL lose that weight! *Jan*

MemberHi:
I’m new at this…so just in the process of getting the hang of ‘how it all goes together’? Anyhow, was interested to read that the TDC helps with thyroid problems (underactive)…so onward and upward!

MemberI’m now down 25 lbs. I hope to be down 30+ by June 5. Leaving on a mission trip to Armenia for two weeks. I covet the prayers of my fellow believers.

MemberWell I have finished week two and am halfway through week three. I can’t tell you how much weight I have lost as my scales died!!!! But I can tell you that my “tight” jeans now fit well (these are my barometer as to where my weight is sitting). I can tell you that I have psoriatic arthritis (an auto immune condition) and that is IMMENSELY improved since I have been on this eating plan. I am not the easiest person to please in that I am on the road a lot for work so carrying the requisite requirements for my meals has not been easy.
What I am doing (to keep life simple) is that I am making sure I am eating the appropriate protein/carb/fat/etc exchanges as I am supposed to – just maybe not what is on my meal plan.
I have to say I am feeling fantastic! I am moving better than I have done in (seriously) years….I have kept absolutely away from processed foods and am just eating clean…and I seriously think that has been the most important point of this plan. Given my condition – this is working so well for me. Quite frankly how I am feeling is worth way more than whatever I weigh 🙂
Thank you – and I shall keep going with this for life 🙂

MemberThank you so much everyone. When I buy some new scales I will tell you how much I have lost. But the way I am feeling is what this is all about for me. I read somewhere (a while ago) that chronic inflammation can halt weight loss and I seem to fall into that category. I really feel that my body is cleansing itself by keeping the ‘clean’ food focus. To anyone else reading this – keep at it – ‘clean’ food will absolutely work for making you feel better – and that is worth way more than the number on the scales – I think anyway 🙂

MemberI know this club is trying to change the way I eat. I tried for 4 weeks to loose weight with their menu. I followed the menu and even changed it several times.I have not lost 1 lb. Every time I get a e-mail from these people they are wanting to sell me something. I paid my money for the change hoping it would work. I usually stay with a program until the end. This time I am at a loss. So good luck with yours.

MemberHi, Ken. Food is part of the deal, but physical activity is also very important. If you have been on restrictive diets in the past and/or have been sedentary in the past and/or present, getting moving is key. It can even be just stepping in place for the duration of a TV program to get started. Anything.

Memberi guess this is the right place. i started program monday, today is friday and i have lost 3lbs already. i am 58 and need to lose 100 lbs. really need support and results!! had a question about the “health bar” in menu planner.. does it matter what kind of “health bar” i don’t like granola bars, but i have those special k bars and love them. but they may have some bad ingredients. i have not eaten one this week…so need to check the ingredients. but loving the menu planner. just updated my weight and printed out another weeks menu. so far so good!!!
