Can I have less meat during the day – breakfast, lunch and snacks and have a larger portion for dinner?
2 oz of meat with my evening meal is not going to work for me. I will gladly forgo meat during the day to have 4 – 6 oz of meat at dinner. I don’t want to mess up the chemistry of the program, but I also know what does and doesn’t work for me!
Hi, bookworm. According to your menu pattern, you should be getting 4 ounces of meat at dinner. I suggest to click on “Exchange view” in the toolbar above your menu and see how many protein exchanges you have at dinner, and what is represented by them – you can ignore the non-meat items and just have all 4 protein exchanges as meat.
