Ever since I was young I have been off and on diets. I lose substantially then over a period of time, sometimes years it gradually claws back on, while I watch hopelessly at the ascending scale digits. What I have noticed over the decades, is that one’s weight can only be controlled temporarily until the hormonal forces within the body’s settings take over and overtake willpower and lower calorie level until it gets back to a certain particular weight, which I believe in the overweight is set at a higher level than for naturally slim people. This is essentially demoralising and I wonder if there is a permanent solution that will reset the body’s weight setting permanently to a lower level?

Hi, Georginak. This program is designed specifically to combat the challenges you have described, and to support a healthy weight long-term. We do this through right-sizing of portions, whole healthy foods, and encouraging exercise, while making sure it can all be adjusted to your lifestyle to become comfortable and second nature.

All my life I have been either gaining or losing. Stabilisation has eluded me. I have at least 50years of diet history behind me, I’ve exercised and dieted more than any slender person I know. My conclusion is that slender people don’t have to try, which is why they are judgemental, they don’t understand that it isn’t lack of willpower or exercise but a hormonal preset weight. I hope this food plan can reset the metabolism furnace and the weight setting.
