MemberI’ve decided this is too difficult to understand, so I’m backing out. I suppose I shouldn’t give up so easily, but I just don’t understand how to go about it. There are terms I don’t understand, and food definitions that are Greek to me. I wish all of you luck with this diet plan. Livvy

MemberI too started today and am actually looking forward to the challenge of moving around on this cite. I am way over weight and have battled this my entire life. then I ended up with Cushings disease and really packed on the pounds. Lost 60 pounds now coming back. I look forward to learning how to eat right, and treat myself better. I am grateful others are here on my journey…I won’t give up on you if you don’t give up on me

MemberHi, Olive, and thanks to all who are so encouraging. Making upgrades to a lifestyle can seem overwhelming at first, but it is so often only in the beginning – and you absolutely can go at your own pace and not dive in head-first. For example, there is a lot the program offers independent of the specific foods: portion control, exercise guides, meal timing, and combining of food groups. The Meal Planner application allows you to build menus based on familiar foods at your post, while getting to know other foods gradually.
If you have any specific questions regarding the foods, menus, etc., please don’t hesitate to ask.October 19, 2014 at 2:58 pm #24036cocobae

MemberNew to the sight ….can truvia be used ??

MemberHi, Holly, and welcome! Truvia is probably fine – not ideal (rather processed), but if you don’t like the taste of unprocessed Stevia (as in Sweet Leaf), it’s still better than a wholly artificial sweetener.

MemberHi, NewMeCarla. You can juice for one or two of the 5 total daily produce servings, but it is better for your body to eat the whole fruit or vegetables.
