Daisy63MemberThankyou didn’t know we could have anything like that. felt bad today as could only do this mornings plan, as Family came around unexpected so I had to feed them all, I tried to just have a yoghurt but ended up having some beef casserole with them that I made as well, which was good but had a lot of Bisto gravy in it 🙁

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Daisy. No worries. Enjoying life is healthy, too! The biggest changes usually stick best if you make them in small steps. Tomorrow is another day 🙂

CajohnMemberHi Just wondering does
6 small cartons of free range egg whites mean 6egg whites?
We don’t have this product in Australia.May 2, 2017 at 8:59 am #38611
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Cajohn. It means 6 egg whites from free-feeding chickens, plus texturizers and yellow color (generally beta-carotene, or pro-vitamin A). You can make your own by combining egg whites with aquafaba (the cooking or can liquid from chickpeas/garbanzo beans) and seasonings high in beta-carotene (such as parsley). It will be healthier, too!

reenie4nierMemberHaving problems actually losing weight but love the energy. Can’t seem to have time to eat everything in the day. Could that be the proble?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, reenie4nier. If time is an issue, you can reduce the number of meals. Just be sure you get all of the servings of protein and produce (carbs are less important).
Additionally, physical activity is important. If you would like guidance with that, please do repost here, and I would be happy to help.May 8, 2017 at 3:17 pm #38671
reenie4nierMemberthanks so much for the update. Have been working out in the garden but that had to stop because of back issues (herniated discs, etc.) and it rained so kept me inside. Love the energy I have though. Have to stick more closely to this diet and it will work, it will work, it will work.

pconlan@cox.netMemberI am just starting and have a question regarding breakfast. I have on my plan oatmeal, currants and cashews. There is no milk included, which I need to be able to eat oatmeal. My question is adding 1 cup of almond milk going to make much difference if I continue the rest of the day’s plan?
May 22, 2017 at 8:31 pm #38779
Ossie-SharonMemberHi pconlan, and welcome! If the almond milk is unsweetened, that’s absolutely fine. Note that each breakfast or morning snack will generally have a serving of dairy – either milk or yogurt – and you can use tht for your cereal.
