MemberHi
I only started my diet yesterday after having a great deal of problems finding most of the ingredients for your recipes. I live in GB it looks like this diet is meant for USA I am having a terrible problem with having to eat 6 times a day. By the time I have prepared my meals it is time for the next. I have a very hectic life as I look after my grandchildren also I have a 93 year old mother, so I am not always able to be at home to eat. Also all the cooking is tiring me out. Can anyone tell me how to manage this diet if I can not be at home to cook or eat. Would it be possible to cut out some meals I can manage breakfast and maybe dinner but can not do lunch as well. What do you suggest?January 16, 2013 at 1:05 am #6298Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Sue. Note that many of the items in the Menu Planner don’t necessarily require cooking – nuts, seeds, cheese, yogurt, bread, fruits, vegetables. These are portable and especially good for snacks, but can also be included in main meals. It is definitely not recommended to skip major meals.

MemberI have the same problem, eating 6 times a day and too much food. I am just not hungry that often. If it was 6 snacks per day then I could manage that amount of food. But to help with this problem of cooking, I went back into the menu planner and took out as many recipes as they would allow and choose mostly whole foods. That helped cut down all the cooking and made the menu a lot simpler. Hope this helps.

MemberThanks Linda I did do that but now I am stuck with the same menu for Monday through to Thursday of the same meals Friday, Saturday, & Sunday is different. I find it harder now to force myself to eat 6 times I like you can handle the breakfast and snacks its the lunch & dinner that really frustrates me but I am keeping at it as I desperately want to loose weight for health reasons
