Hello everyone, I am just about to start the Low Sugar program in an effort to lose weight, I’m a little anxious because there seems not to be many carbs in my diet plan which I use to figure out my insulin dose. Anyone else in the same boat and having success?
I delved a little deeper into the menus and talked to my diabetes nurse. I now think it will work well and the nurse is going to go over my sugar numbers with me in a couple of weeks and see if I need an insulin adjustment.
Hi, Poolie. That’s good to read – we have indeed based this program on principles of diabetes management. If you have any questions or hit any snags, please do repost, and I would be happy to help.
