Can I use I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter to season vegetables or can you suggest some other way to season beside using a little bit of salt. Also, if i sautee flounder, can I use a little olive oil?
Olive oil is the best for seasoning (1 tsp is considered a fat exchange), but you can also use macadamia nut oil for a more buttery flavor. Other good oils include almond and hazelnut.
There are definitely worse products out there than I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter – it is one of the higher quality margarines on the market – but it is still recommended to keep use to a minimum.
