Just wondering if this system would be able to cater for my needs, I know I can choose vegetarian options but will it be able to cater for my needs as a person who has gastroparesis. This mean that I am SUPPOSED TO EAT the following:
1 Low Fat;
2 Low Fibre;
3 All COOKED fruit and vegetables WITHOUT the skin;
as my stomach is much slower at digesting food. Skin on many foods and certain foods can lead to the development of bezors. To do this it is usually the processed foods that I have to choose.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, Mandi. Hopefully you are receiving care from a physician and/or nurse practitioner and dietitian who are familiar with your case. Because you can choose the foods that will appear in your menu, this program will suit you just fine. Any vegetables that you choose can be cooked, you can choose regular white breads and rice instead of whole wheat, and of course, there are many low-fat options.
Thanks heaps – looking forward to trying 🙂
