When the menu says veggies of your choice…..are those to be chosen only from the “free” veggies? I’ve been eating carrots and some different types of peas and beans but don’t know if I’m supposed to or not.
Hi, smithju59. No, the “free” vegetables are extra. The “Vegetables of Your Choice” are from the non-starchy vegetable list (serving size = 1 cup or 240 ml). Among those you listed, carrots and green beans are non-starchy, and peas and legume-type beans are starchy.
Where can I find the non-starchy vegetable list?
Hi, smithju59. You can see it when you click on the “Vegetables” button in the Menu Planner food lists area. The link to there is the My Food Choices” icon in the toolbar above your menu.
