You specify putting oil & lemon juice on a salad. Is there anything wrong with putting vinegar on it instead of lemon juice?
No – still a free food. There is some research that suggests the combination of lemon juice, olive oil, and vegetables is particularly protective against chronic diseases, but nothing that says vinegar is bad.
Talking of free foods – is it OK to add free vegetables to my meals to bulk them out a bit. I love my vegetables.
Of course! The more free vegetables, the better!!!
