I have been following the program for nearly 4 weeks now. I feel so much better and sleep better. I have stopped gaining weight but am not loosing any weight yet. Any recommendations? modify diet? switch to keto diet? I have celiac, hashimotos, and colitis (low does steroid at this time).

Hi, cmjejones1. I’m glad to read that you’re feeling better. Are you physically active? Are you receiving treatment for Hasimoto’s?

Yes, prescribed levothryoxine for 33 years now. Struggle with physical activity due to injuries and motor vehicle accidents. multiple surgeries and weight restrictions. Walking is nearly all I can do at this time. Having a desk job is required due to my physical limitations.

Hi, cmjejones. Thanks for that information. As you probably already know, having a normal thyroid level is critical to weight loss, and I trust you’re followed closely by a healthcare provider familiar with your case. Since you have multiple issues (steroids, too), you can substituting some of the starchy carbohydrates in your menu with proteins, exchange for exchange. You might also wish to lower the total amount of food a little, which you can do by changing the weight in your profile to 228 (instead of the current 238).
With regard to exercise, getting some regularly is the best way to go. If you have difficulty doing it outside, you can do it at home, in place in front of the television, for the length of at least half an hour per day, ultimately twice a day.
