Okay I’ve followed the meal plan to a T for the last 7 weeks and only lost 3.5 pounds. Anyone out there having trouble losing weight after a head injury? I began this journey because I’ve gained 40 lbs since then and nothing I do gets the weight off. If I need to continue it’s going to get expensive to drop the wright I need tox thanks.
Also what size roll are we talking about when choosing the white roll?
Hi, Enlawley. Hopefully you are being followed by a healthcare provider familiar with your case.
Depending on the location of the head, those injuries can indeed slow down metabolism. The best way to combat this is by being physically active and favoring protein and produce over carbohydrates. Unless you would really miss the starchier items in your menu, note that you can substitute each one with a protein, exchange for exchange (for example, 1/2 cup of pasta or 1 slice of bread is equal to an ounce of meat or cheese, 2 ounces of tofu, or 1/3 cup of legumes, etc.
