Hi is there anywhere on the site that lists weights and measures of foods?
I seem to be using a cup measure for most of the menus if – this is the general measure then ok?
I used spaghetti this week and couldn’t find a measure for it so went for 75g for portion is that ok?
Many thanks
The cup size on this site is the American one of 240ml. Although it doesn’t list spaghetti(!), there is a useful conversion guide on the Dovesfarm.co.uk site. Another puzzling thing for larger quantities is that the American pint in smaller only 16fl.oz instead of the 20fl.oz used in UK, Australia etc.
Hi, Slimfreedom. Tyagi is correct (thanks!). For spaghetti, a cup is 140 g cooked (made from 60 g uncooked).
