savedbyfaith18Memberwhat is your feeling about diet coke or Pepsi
May 26, 2015 at 9:41 pm #29142
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, savedbyfaith. We don’t recommend colas, and “diet” oddly enough has it’s own disadvantages. You can read more about these issues in our articles, including http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2.

sitter88MemberWhat about coke zero?
June 17, 2015 at 4:31 am #29632
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Sitter88. We actually wouldn’t recommend those, as they contain artificial sweeteners that can work against your efforts here. You can read more about the types of sweeteners we do recommend here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2. For flavoring, squeezes of citrus or steeping berries or sliced fruit in water for several hours does the trick and provides extra health benefits.

DeannaHaMemberWhat about flavored water drinks like Sobe Life Water. Plain water gets so boring after a while and I seem to crave it with some more taste. Plus it says it has vitamins in it? or is that just a gimick?
August 16, 2015 at 1:24 pm #30857
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, DeannaHa. The added vitamins might be a gimmick, but they’re still OK. Flavored waters can also be OK, but just look out for sweeteners and artificial additives.

amandasniderMemberI use Advocare Spark in my water a couple of times a day is that ok to do?
August 31, 2015 at 10:07 pm #31254
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Amanda. That product actually has a few artificial ingredients in it that may work against your efforts. Try organic alternatives, such as Mega Food Daily Energy – see the ingredients list in ths link http://www.iherb.com/MegaFood-Daily-Energy-Nutrient-Booster-Powder-30-Servings-1-86-oz-52-5-g/56437. You don’t necessarily need to use this specific item, but here you can see the type of thing we recommend.

DMeakinMemberHi I like a product called vimto. It is produced in the UK and I like it with cold or hot water. The sweeteners in it are sucralose and acesulfame k.
