MemberHi, Sharron. If it is unsweetened, it is fine. If it is sweetened, the sugar could add up. Beyond that, it may be something to let your health care provider know, just in case quinine in large amounts might be an issue.

MemberHi, Nicole. The butter is actually separate in your menu – you are always given the option of a spread when you have bread or crackers somewhere.

I have a teaspoon of unfiltered apple cider vinegar 2-3 times a day in my water to take away my digestive problems, will that cause a problem?
also I drink Bali 5 antioxidant infusion drinks 1-2 a day to clear my head, it really keeps me alert and flushes the bladder, will that interferer in anyway? MemberHi, eckostorm. All vinegars are “free,” so you can have as much as you like (without overdoing in general, of course)!
Bai drinks are excellent, no worries there either.
As for coffee, creamer can be fine, as long as it isn’t artificial and you use it in small amounts (i.e., a couple of teaspoons of light or heavy cream, or 1/4 cup of a naturally flavored milky beverage such as hazelnut “milk” or coconut beverage in a carton).January 1, 2016 at 4:55 pm #33347amyRN4
MemberCan I use MIO flavored water drops? Also, is sweet and low ok to use occasionally as a unsweetened tea sweetener?

MemberHi, Faye. Yes, you need about 8 8-ounce glasses of water per day. Skim milk is more of a food than water, so only about half of it counts. If you use skim milk, be sure to get the “bluish” type without added milk solids.

MemberWhat kinds of artificial sweeteners can we use and what about drinking fresh brewed tea? We are NOT coffee drinkers and if I do not have some caffeine early in the day, I have a massive headache all day long. Also, what about diet, caffeine free soda? Yes or no? Thanks

We actually prefer that you don’t use artificial sweeteners, but here are plenty of natural options – see our article on this topic (http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea). For that reason, we would encourage you to make your own diet-type soda by sweetening soda water and adding flavoring from fresh lemon or lime juice or even flavor extracts (e.g. “cola”).
