Can anyone explain – half a cup of oatmeal (cooked) PLEASE? I measured half a cup of Quaker Oats (100% whole grain rolled oats) and then thought…..’cooked’ ??? because you also need half a cup of Milk….so what precisely do I do?

Hi, lotusport. When the item states cooked, it refers to the volume after cooking. So 1/2 cup of oatmeal cooked generally translates to 2Tablespoons of rolled oats cooked directly in the 1/2 cup of milk – or you can cook the oats in 1/2 cup or water and add the milk after it is cooked.

I mak it in the crockpot and when it is finished cooking I measure out 1 cup and add whatever fruit is suggested to have with it, cinnamon and stevia. soo good!!
