marjanMemberI just joined last week and my biggest start is always my breakfast, i just love my coffee and my whole slice of bread with some butter and jam. I am affraid to eat more in the morning because i think it will be to much! Would yogurt with granola and some fresh fruit be healthy enough?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Marjan. That sounds great.
It may take some getting used to, but a good-sized, protein-rich breakfast is actually recommended for healthy weight loss and maintenance.May 26, 2014 at 10:59 am #20483
marjanMemberCan you give me some idea which yogurt is ok to eat and would honey be ok as a sweetener?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, marjan. Honey is fine, but in moderation – each tablespoon is a carb exchange, and it can add up quickly!
As for yogurt, we recommend organic, pastured or vegan (soy, coconut, rice) yogurts with active cultures – if you can’t find all of these together, just do the best you can.
If you like sweetened yogurt, we recommend making your own with fresh fruit and a natural sweetener such as inulin, xylitol, or honey (you can also use Stevia or monk fruit, though these can have an aftertaste).June 3, 2014 at 1:21 pm #20615
