In the description of the Trim Down Club, they say that they will teach us how to eaat whole grain bread. Yet whole wheat bread is one of the 5 foods that you should never eat. What do they mean?
It is the “whole” breads that don’t include legal terms, such as “100%” and “sprouted” because they may be overprocessed and include very little fiber.
There are thee major types of bread that are OK:
1. Sprouted whole grain (SWG)
2. 100% whole grain – be sure to look for the “100%”
These are the best. The next is OK if you have no alternative:
3. Gluten-free breads that are not white, i.e. rice bread
