your website does not have any of the food I had for breakfast. I had steel cut oatmeal cooked from scratch, not instant. I had small handful of raisons and some gluten free granola thrown in with the oatmeal. For lunch I had some salmon jerky and cole slaw. And some brown rice with Quinoa avacado roll with soy sauce and wasabi.

Hi, Bonnie. The foods you described are in the Menu Planner lists, though something like coleslaw is more of a recipe and so would be prepared from ingredients that are in the application lists.

It would be nice if this program took something like one of those calorie-counter books to get a fairly complete list of foods. I’m finding the list given to be very limited. It only gives me pizza as an option for the lunch meal. I don’t want pizza! Basically, I’m finding this part of the program less than useless. I keep trying, but it costs me hours and frustration every day, and I never get a meal to look like what I actually ate. The pre-made meal lists are just weird.

    Hi bsimoes,

This program is based on lifestyle changes and eating the right food your body needs for fuel.

Instead of counting calories, the Trim Down Club gets to the source of the problem, which is what you’re putting in your body to cause the excess weight in the first place. We teach you to swap out foods that can wreak havoc on your body by increasing blood sugar levels that can cause hormonal imbalance.

Additionally, to change an entire meal you can click on the white rotating arrows to the right of the meal in your final meal plan. This will allow you to create your own meals!

    All the best 🙂

I know that it’s not about counting calories; that wasn’t my point, but I would like to see more options for food lists, and this program does not have it. I know how to change out choices; I know about the circle of arrows and drop down menues; my point is that the choices are too limited and not really realistic…quail eggs?!

Hi, bsimoes. Try this document – http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists. You can use it to plug in your own subs for the same exchanges, which you can see when you click on “Exchange view” in the toolbar above your finished menu.
