The introductory materials indicated drinking wine about twice a week is OK; but what is the guidance on how much and should the wine be exchanged for something else on your menu?
Hi, bmilling. You will find wine under the “Fat” category, because that’s how the body processes alcohol. If you select it in the Menu Planner, it will appear in your menu.
If I have a small glass of wine do I exchange it for fruit?
Hi, Grandmarjudy64. A 4-5 oz glass of wine is actually equal to a carb plus a fat exchange. If you select it in the Menu Planner (in the Fat section under Beverages), it can be worked into your menu.
