Hi, I wonder if anyone has a favorite cooking show to recommend? I watched some Jamie Oliver in the past, but didn’t find British cooking that appealing… I would love to know more about exotic recipes, however.

If anyone can guide me to some cooking DVDs or has other kind of recommendations, that would be great. Thanks in advance!

Well, I can tell you that I don’t particularly like the new fashion of reality shows that are centered on competitive cooking, but that’s because I’m not that fond of reality show drama.

Here’s a list of top cooking shows that might help you:

I think some of these should be available on DVDs… Anyway, choosing the best cooking shows often comes down to personal taste (pun not intended :)), but I hope you’ll find something that suits you.

Thanks. For now, I settled with a random cooking channel on cable TV. In time I hope to find a favourite show. However, exotic recipes will have to wait since I have trouble finding ingredients for the Asian style of cooking.
