Peel and core the apples cut into quarters. Place in a saucepan with water. Bring to a boil then turn down on medium. Cook 20-25 min or until soft. Put apples only into blender. Bring remaining water back to a boil and boil down until left with 2-3 tbl. Add the lemon juice and cinn. and put in blender with apples. Blend consistancy that you wish. Mmmmmmgood and you don't need sugar. If you do add just a little stevia.
Cranberry Cinnamon Muffins
Place the dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl beat together the egg, milk and oil until well combined. Pour this into dry ingredients and mix until just combined. DO NOT OVER BEAT. Add Craisins and nuts and stir through. Spoon into well greased muffins pans. Bake at 200 degrees celsius for 15 – 20 minutes. Makes approximately 12 muffins.
Raisin Bran Muffins
Combine flour, spelt bran, ground flax, baking powder, soda. Add milk, oil, molasses, egg and stir until combined. Add raisins.
Pour batter into paper-lined (I use parchment muffin liners or unbleached totally chlorine-free muffin liners) muffin tins.
Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for 20 – 22 minutes. Do not over bake.
