Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp/15 ml organic canola oil
- ⅔ cup yellow onion
- 1 cup/160 g raw brown rice
- ½ cup/80 g raw wild rice
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- ¼ cup almonds/30 g slivered
- ¼ cup/25 g scallion / spring onion tops
Directions
- Boil water as directed on rice package.
- Add ingredients with rice. Cook covered for about 30 minutes on low heat (until ingredients are tender).
Season to taste.
