Ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts, skinless
- 1 tsp. / 5 ml olive oil
- 3 cups / 720 ml cabbage, cut or chopped
- 1 sweet bell pepper, julienned
- 1 onion, chopped (optional)
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. / 15 ml cornstarch, preferably organic/non-GMO
- 1½ cups / 360 ml water
- 1 Tbsp. / 15 ml low-sodium soy sauce, preferably organic/non-GMO
- ½ tsp. / 2½ ml ground ginger
- ½ tsp. / 2½ ml garlic powder
Directions
- Combine the following: water, soy sauce, cornstarch, and seasoning.
- Place with the rest of the ingredients in a crockpot.
- Cook on high for 4 hours or on low 7 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
