Ingredients

  1. 3 chicken breasts, skinless
  2. 1 tsp. / 5 ml olive oil
  3. 3 cups / 720 ml cabbage, cut or chopped
  4. 1 sweet bell pepper, julienned
  5. 1 onion, chopped (optional)
  6. 2 carrots, chopped
  7. 1 Tbsp. / 15 ml cornstarch, preferably organic/non-GMO
  8. 1½ cups / 360 ml water
  9. 1 Tbsp. / 15 ml low-sodium soy sauce, preferably organic/non-GMO
  10. ½ tsp. / 2½ ml ground ginger
  11. ½ tsp. / 2½ ml garlic powder

Directions

  1. Combine the following: water, soy sauce, cornstarch, and seasoning.
  2. Place with the rest of the ingredients in a crockpot.
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours or on low 7 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
