I am just sharing a drink if any one is interested that I drink all day daily is water with cucumber lemon and fresh mint, it is really good and takes care of your thirst, just wanted to share
Did you notice the soy also used in this drink?? Soy is on of the 5 foods prohibited!! Wonder why they even used the word in this recipe.
Hi, Shupiz. Soy products that are “prohibited” are those that are overly processed, such as fake meats. Simple, traditional items such as milk without artificial additives, tofu, tempeh, etc. are fine.
I love to use plant based Vega protein and greens vanilla flavored for breakfast drink. It has 20 grams of protein, 2 servings of greens, gluten-free, no sugar added and only 110 calories per serving. I like to add a 1 tsp. of organic chia seeds, 1 tsp.of organic milled ground flax seeds, 1 tsp. oat bran with 1/2 cup of 100% pure Aloe Vera juice mixed with one fruit, example an apple, 5-7 ice cubes, and 1 1/12 cups of cold water. It’s easy to drink, refreshing and crumbs up appetite. So I am just getting started with the Trimdownclub and want to make sure I am on the right track with this.
Anything to replace coffee not a coffee lover.
Hi, Veronica. It is also great with cinnamon tea.
I LOVED this! I love coffee but sometimes coffee doesn’t love me. I had this, put my vanilla protein powder in it w/the flax, eliminated the vanilla extract and it still was great! YUM YUM, definitely a winner for morning pick me ups.
This looks great. With the protein powder could this be considered a breakfast or just a snack?
It’s fine as a snack as it is. If you want it as a breakfast, double all the ingredients except for the banana, and add instead 2 teaspoons of almond butter.
