Ingredients
- 1 cup / 240 ml whole grain flour
- 1 cup / 240 ml milk, preferably pastured whole
- 1 egg, preferably pastured
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 1 tsp / 5 ml baking powder
- 1 tsp / 5 ml vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp salt or substitute
- 1 tsp / 5 mlOrganic canola, almond, macadamia, or hazelnut oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine milk, flour, egg, and baking powder.
- Add remaining ingredients, and stir until well-combined.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Brush oil to coat bottom.
- Using a ladle, pour in pancake batter on to desired size (¼ cup / 60 m for standard, 2 Tbsp. / 60 ml for mini)
- Cook on each side until bubbles form and the batter appears to dry (about a minute).
