Ingredients

  1. 24 Chicken wings, organic/pastured

  2. Skinny Kansas City BBQ Sauce
  3. 15 oz Organic tomato sauce
  4. ¼ cup Apple cider vinegar
  5. ⅓ cup Pure honey
  6. ¼ cup Tomato paste
  7. 3 tbs Worcheshire sauce
  8. 2 tsp No-salt liquid smoke
  9. 1 tsp Paprika
  10. 1 tsp Garlic powder
  11. ½ Teaspoon of kosher salt
  12. ½ tsp Ground black pepper
  13. 1 tsp Cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 °F.

  2. Skinny Kansas City BBQ Sauce
  3. Whisk all ingredients together in a medium saucepan.
  4. Simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.

  5. Assembly and Cooking
  6. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, then place a wire rack on top of it and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. (If you don’t have a wire rack, you can bake the chicken directly on the parchment.)
  7. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken wings and bbq sauce. Gently toss to coat.
  8. Transfer chicken wings to the prepared baking rack, and line them up in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven.
  10. Brush with the remaining bbq sauce.
  11. Serve warm.
