Can we use a crock pot for these recipes
Hi, Wolf1971. Some of the recipes would work with a crockpot – such as this recipe in particular. The egg or dairy dishes, or those with avocado or that require crispiness probably would not.
Not tried anything yet , i need to find recipes for putting carbs proteins etc together to combine my whole meal , i am new and haven’t a clue where to start , and do those books get sent to me or are they on line as you do not have my address
Hi, GrandmaAngel73. Yes, everything is online. See the toolbar near the top of each site page – there, you will find links to recipes, articles (“Tips and Tricks”), and background information (in “My Guides”)>
Trying this today and looking forward to it! Will have plainly cooked vegetables on the side as I adore them, will accommodate my whole family this way! Thanks for sharing!!
Hello,
I want to try this recipe, but I notice there is no oil in the recipe…won’t this burn without some kind of grease added ?
Hi, Rocky. Between the cheese and natural pork juices, there is enough fat.
I made this tonight and it’s definitely a keeper .
This recipe is FABULOUS! Our favorite from the selection so far!!!! 🙂 Thank you for sharing.
Hi, llpessentialoils. Pork isn’t necessarily more unhealthy than any other meat, rather it depends how the animals were raised – all-natural feed (i.e., organic pastured), minimal stress, and no unnecessary medications.
Our two pigs were raised free range on a friend’s farm, the meat is absolutely beautiful, no comparison to shop bought! Thank you for mentioning this matter
Why do you have pork on your diets as it is a very unhealthy meat.
Hi, sjksomerville. Just choose something similar as a placesaver as you build your menus in the Menu Planner, and make the swap at meal prep time. This particular recipe is quite simple because it only counts for protein – so select pork loin, and use this as the recipe.
How do I add these meals to my menus? I am new here and am looking for some foods that I particularly like. Thanks x
Hi, Gio. Our newer recipes (other than those for holidays) are designed for fewer portions. In the meantime, you can scale them down by using this guide: http://www.trimdownclub.com/right-sizing-food-preparation.
Serves 16? There is only two off us and theses recipes are not tailored for 2 to 4 people. It would be a lot easier if the recipes were designed for smaller portions.
