Ingredients

  • Ground Beef, 1 1/4 pound (568 g)
  • 2 yellow bell peppers (238 g)
  • Garlic, 1 garlic clove (4 g)
  • Table salt, 1/2 teaspoon (35 g)
  • Provolone cheese, 4 slices (112 g)
  • 3 eggs (129 g)
  • Heavy Cream, 1/2 cup (117 g)
  • Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp (6 g)
  • Chili Powder, 1/2 tsp (1 g)
  • Spring Onions (Scallions), 1 green onions (12 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking tray.
  3. Dice peppers, garlic, and scallions.
  4. Add the ground beef to a skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring often.
  5. When beef is broken apart, but still pink, add the peppers, scallion, garlic, and salt. Continue cooking, stirring often, until beef is cooked through and peppers have softened a bit.
  6. Pour the beef and vegetables into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Cut the cheese into small pieces and place over the beef mixture.
  8. In a bowl, combine eggs, cream, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk well.
  9. Pour the egg mixture over the beef and place the dish in the oven. Bake for 35 minutes or until the eggs are set.
  10. Let sit 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
