Ingredients
- 1 lb. / 454 g raw salmon fillet, preferably wild
- 2 Tbsp. / 9 ml olive oil
- 1 lime, halved
- Chipotle chili, ground or powder, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 500°F / 260°C. Brush or mist metal baking sheet with 2 teaspoons of the olive oil.
- Rinse salmon, pat dry, slice into 4 fillets, and place on the baking sheet.
- Brush or mist each fillet with remaining olive oil.
- Squeeze the juice from ½ lime onto each fillet
- Sprinkle fillets with chipotle, then place a half lime on top of each fillet.
- Turn down oven temperature to 275°F / 135°C.
- Place salmon in oven and roast for 8-12 minutes, depending on how "well-done" is preferred.
