I made it tonight. It looked so good I cheated and had a bowl (Quarter of a cup) with a dessert spoon of yogurt. it was delicious. I skipped lunch today so I figured it was ok to have some.?
Hi, Judy. That’s wonderful! By the way, you can serve it with either yogurt or milk, if you wish.
I don’t know what half this stuff is let alone finding it
Hi, Tedio. Please do take advantage of our articles to learn about unfamiliar foods, and see our shopping guide here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/shopping-links-for-healthy-foods. In the meantime, you absolutely can build your menus from foods that are familiar to you, and just gradually incorporate upgrades at your own pace.
Is this served with milk or yogurt?
Hi, Judy. Either milk or yogurt are fine to ge served with this recipe.
Hi,
I’m slow to understand everything. There are so many infos.
I want to learn. I’m learning by doing.
That’s why have perhaps silly question
If I want choose for breakfast musli perhaps every 3 days and on the others like muffins. How do I get this in my weekly menu plan?
Thanks for every little idea. Christine
Hi, Christine. Just ease into everything, and go at your own pace. You don’t have to be perfect (especially not all at once), just do a little better than before, and it can up and become second nature.
I recommend you use the personal version of the Menu Planner application, and select muesli and various muffins for your breakfast – be sure to “favorite” these (click on the hearts). When you get your final menu and it doesn’t suit you, click on the item that you want to delete, and you will get a list of items that you can put in its place.
When you get a menu you like, you can repeat it as much as you like – or just repeat breakfasts.
I am on antibiotics so feeling a bi t sick but I am trying to keep it up I am diabetic 2:-( 🙁 so tht does not help x
Not knowing what Psyllium was I had to look this up and found the following information:-
Psyllium seed husk consumption has noteworthy negative and positive attributes
Possible adverse reactions include allergic reactions, especially among those having had regular exposure to psyllium dust. Gastrointestinal tract obstruction may occur, especially for those with prior bowel surgeries or anatomic abnormalities, or if taken with inadequate amounts of water.
I THINK A NOTE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ATTACHED TO THIS RECIPE for those people who may have recently had surgery or have a particular allergy.
Psyllium husk is essentially unflavored Metamucil.
I,m new to trimdown club so a bit unsure what exchanges refers to can anyone enlighten me please. Margaret
Hi, Margaret. Yes! It is indeed intended to be a supply for several days – not the storage recommendation in step 12 of the instructions.
this seams an awful lot.is it for 2 wks suplies? bit confused.
I like this even before trying it. I have to go shopping to get some of the items; then I’ll make it and see how long it lasts.
Hi, Accumul8. The recipe will work without it. It is a “Delight from Member,” but we took the liberty of eliminating it from the instructions. No worries.
Step 5 says to add the lecithin, but it’s not listed in the ingredients. What is this and how much is to be added?
To Ossie-Sharon. Thanks for reducing the size of recipes.
Hi, cjbc505. Try this resource: http://www.trimdownclub.com/reducing-the-size-of-recipes/.
your recipes will feed an army! I am a single senior and can’t handle cooking for 15 servings. do you have help for us single seniors??
Hi, janetti600. Most grocery stores carry it (especially health-oriented types such as Whole Foods Market), as do vitamin stores, drugstores, and warehouse-type stores such as CostCo, Target, and WalMart.
Knitgirl,
Not expensive if you consider it’s for breakfasts for a fortnight:)
Where do I find psyllium husk? janetti600

Thank You.
Hi, knigirl. No need – you can make it with as few ingredients as you like.
I can’t aford to buy that much stuff to make a breakfast.
This is the best Muesli I’ve ever had.
