Ingredients

  1. ½ cup / 60 gm cucumber, sliced (if unpeeled, be sure to scrub thoroughly) or 1 cup / 130 gm if not using yogurt
  2. 1 cup / 180 gm honeydew melon, cubed
  3. ½ cup / 120 ml organic soy or Greek yogurt (optional)
  4. ¼ tsp. / ½ gm Stevia or monkfruit sweetener
  5. 2-3 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Combine in a blender for 30 seconds. Garnish with a cucumber slice, if desired.

Serving Size: ֲ1 cup

  1. This is a incomplete recipe the liquid is missing also the picture is deceptive if you use yoghurt the outcome is different to the picture. This is a nice combination but you have to make it according to your taste I would say cucumber is strong so add sparingly.

    With regard to Greek yogurt substitutes, any high-quality plain yogurt (i.e., organic, pastured, and particularly with active cultures) will work. Modified corn starch and sucralose are not recommended in this program – the first is overly processed and the second is artificial. Sorry.

  3. I don’t like the taste of plain Greek yogurt and l don’t like adding sweeteners; so l have been eating Yoplait Source 0% (35 calories for weight watchers). One of the ingredients is Modified corn starch and sucralose, are these ingredients good or bad for me. What is the next best option for greek yogurt.

  4. Hi, Fieldway. Different foods have different weights for the same volume. In general, liquids and pureed foods (or foods with a similar texture) follow the 4 oz = 120 ml or gram rule, but solids can vary widely. No worries.

  5. I am confused with what the equivalent of one cup is to English measurements of ounces and grammes. The recipe for cucumber and melon shake states that half a cup is 60 grammes but all the other recipes I followed state that half a cup is 4 ounnces which is 100 grammes. The measurements are so crucial to the programme that I am left feeling confused and dispondant…..help! 🙁
