Ingredients

  1. 1 Cup Chick Peas
  2. 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  3. 1 Large Clove Garlic
  4. ⅓ Cup Hot Tomato Salsa
  5. ¼ Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  6. 2 Cups + Water
  7. Pinch Salt

Directions

  1. Cover Chick Peas with water in a bowl and soak overnight.
  2. Add more water if necessary to keep covered.
  3. Cook chickpeas until tender (about 30 mins), cool, drain and put into food processor with another ½ Cup of Water.
  4. Crush the garlic and put it into small microwaveable dish with olive oil and microwave until hot (about 30 seconds).
  5. Add to chickpeas in food processor with pepper and salt and process until smooth, adding more water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
  6. Stir in salsa – amount may be adjusted according to taste.
